“Will you accept this biscuit?” That is what he asked me right before I planted a big wet kiss on his cheek! Well he is Prince Lorenzo Borghese from The Bachelor series on ABC, so he must say this to all the pups he meets! LoBor (that is our pet name for him) produced his own bachelor show with doggies called America’s Next Top Dog. Candidly LoBor’s show was sooo much better than the human version! And not just because we had starring roles! BOL!!
Lorenzo, who is a founder of Animal Aid, is a huge animal advocate and supporter. I kissed him on the red carpet of the recent Celebrity Catwalk Paws in the City runway fashion show. The show featured adoptable pups from Animal Care & Control and Rescuzilla. Ten doggy fashion designers from around the globe donated their time, talent, and gorgeous fashions to help make the runway show a success and get media attention for the adoptable pups. The Housewives of New York came out with a film crew. Could Carole Radziwill be any cooler?! She even offered to get involved to foster pups! Smart, beautiful, and a kind heart.
So there was drama before the event, during the event, and after the event. But we are kind of used to that. . . Some doggies wanted more fashions to wear. Some doggies wanted more rescue pups in the show. Some doggies came just to be filmed for “reality” shows. And some doggies insisted they looked better than everyone else at the event. BOL! This little doggy came out to support Jennifer Celebrity Catwalk, the designers, and of course the thousands and thousands of doggies at local shelters each year, who just want a place to call home . . .
