Never a dull doggy moment in New York City! Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting the new Halo, Purely for Pets City Tails-NYC pop-up shop over at the Roger Smith Hotel at 47th and Lex. The shop, open through June 26, will host cool events, feature adoptable pets, and promote the Halo Pet Foundation. (100% of donations to the Halo Pet Foundation are granted to animal welfare and rescue groups.)

Upcoming special events include an Ada Nieves fashion runway event on June 6, “Jilli” Dog shows on June 5 and 19, and a Dr. Marty Becker discussion and book event on June 21. Animal Haven, Bideawee, and other rescue groups will showcase adoptable animals throughout the month. Ellen DeGeneres, co-owner of Halo, has donated lots of cool merchandise that can be purchased for small donations.
