The $50 million dog is orange | thepupdiary.com

12 Nov

Wow! Some dog! That’s what we said when we saw Jeff Koons’ 12-foot tall orange stainless steel dog outside of Christie’s auction house last week. Balloon Dog (Orange) could fetch up to $55 million at the auction this evening!

There are 5 metallic dogs in the Koons collection. The other pups are yellow, blue, magenta, and red. The big orange doggy is part of the Brant Collection and proceeds from the sale will be used to help fund future activities of The Brant Foundation Art Study Center in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Tis the season! Already?! | thepupdiary.com

We haven’t even worn our Halloween outfits yet and the city has turned into one big advertisement for Christmas! I bet if we look hard enough we will see decorations for Valentine’s Day, too! What’s a doggy to do? We must admit that we do love the holiday season! Lots of presents, food, events, and vacation! We are going to be very busy pups the next few months touring the city and looking for fun!

Horseless carriages, please | thepupdiary.com

21 Oct

No, not headless horsemen. Horseless carriages. We hate to see the horses working in and around Central Park. It is just way too dangerous for them to be out in all of that traffic! And pollution! We think a solar-powered carriage would be a fun way to see the park! Of course, we prefer to walk (and run) through the park.

Burger, burger, burger – yum! I love burgers! And mom said I can get a burger every night of my birthday week if I share it with my sister! Luckily there are several restaurants in New York City where I can have my burger and eat it, too! Here are eight spots where spot is welcome! Can’t wait to see where we go tonight!

What’s your Story | thepupdiary.com

We love the Story boutique on Tenth Avenue at 19th Street in Chelsea. Every four to eight weeks the shop changes concept with a different theme. The current theme, Made in America, showcases a wide variety of products from around the nation. Best of all, each new theme includes a cute pet area with carefully curated items.
