We headed to Bark & Co (the geniuses behind BarkBox) headquarters last night for some doggy fun and fundraising for the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals. Hamilton Pug, a cute pup rescued from a shelter in Ohio, organized the shindig and invited lots of doggy friends! It was so much fun to see Instagram doggy friends in person! The Pugs sure do know how to pawty! PugLove!!

Hamilton raised over $1,100 for the Mayor’s Alliance – way to go Ham! Hoping to see many of the pups at the Barkfest in Madison Square Park this summer! And if you are looking for a new furry friend, check out the new BarkBuddy app!

Dog party with a purpose | thepupdiary.com

What do you get when you cross some Pup Scouts with a Puccini? A fun dog-friendly party raising over $1,300 for the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals! Puccini, a Maltipoo on a mission, decided to dedicate his 6th birthday party to one of his favorite causes – homeless animals. He enlisted his Pup Scout doggy friends to help out by donating their time and talents to the cause.

Puccini’s party kicked off Pet Fashion Week and pups from around the nation came to wish him a pawsome year. Held at Honda of Manhattan on the west side, party goers enjoyed food, drinks, doggy treats, a silent auction, games, and photo opps. Dawn Deisler made an amazing doggy portrait cake!

Bark in the Park with the Brooklyn Cyclones | thepupdiary.com

We love dog-friendly baseball games! We get to run in the field, eat hot dogs, hang out with our doggy friends, and did we mention eat hot dogs?! Earlier this year we checked out the Mets at Citi Field. Last night, we headed to Brooklyn for the Bark in the Park with the Cyclones.

The game is held at MCU Park in Coney Island. The Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals had adoption vans with cute adoptable animals. We sat in the bleacher section, which was renamed the “BOW-WOW zone” for the night.

Doggy disco walking the field in the dog parade!

After the game we walked on the dog-friendly Coney Island boardwalk. (We tried to walk on the beach, but dogs are not allowed.)

Upcoming Bark in the Park with the Mets will be held on September 9 and 14 at Citi Field.
